Nana, Yaya and Q at the favorite (Carol's) pizza place...

Nana has loved Chunky Cheese ever since we planned her 40th BDP for her in Portland.  Every time she can talk a Grandchild into it, they go to visit the local CC!  This one was not long ago in COS!

Sometimes you find the most unusual things at the local Restore!

Was not expecting to find this donated item when I last visited the Restore.  However the motivation for visiting frequently is the finding of the unexpected.  I found the unexpected!!!  Apparently the USPS donated some "hard to move items" but I decided not to not buy any.

1000 Piece Ravensburger Puzzle Done in 6-Days: 166 piece average pieces per day: yay!

Most of the time: Amaya, the Family Puzzler gets to put in the last piece.  This time, Mark was able, with the help of his two assistants to place the final piece.  I salute all three of them!!!

Another Puzzle Started - 1,000 Pieces - pieces so tiny I have to concentrate not to squish them... kidding sort of

The Family Puzzler arrived unannounced since she did all the wash, dishes and homework for the day.  Decided to go see Nana - who promptly took her to lunch.  However, we got started on this new puzzle before she left!  Great!!

Fun when your Grandaughter is a good friend too two to dos...

We love the fact that the ABNB is so close to American Pickers Store.

Three Swingers

These three swingers seem to have fun together!

Panama and Eric Entertaining the ABNB Crowd During Our Last Visit

We had a super evening with the entertainment!  Steve and Patty were there with us - great times after so long without company.

Carol, Steve, Patty and Our Favorite Lady Singer... Happy Birthday Patty!

Our Favorite Singer:  Tawnya Reynolds.  We caught her, where else but our favorite bar: Margaritaville in Nashville.  Patty and Steve met us there so we could do some Country Stuff, Go to the Dentist and See Family.  We saw some great bands:  The Wild Feathers, The Time Jumpers and a Tribute to a popular songwriter having health hard times:  Travis Meadows.

The Young Girls Get Together in Phoenix

Yaya and Curly - Long Time No See - Curly Moved to Colorado

Yaya is the only one in the Family that likes Curly as much as Papa.

Carol and Doug Survived the Incline!

We enjoyed walking the Incline today: 2,744 steps and a 3-4 mile walk   back down to the base.  Rugged for us old folks but we enjoyed doing it together.  Went to the Lifetime Hot Tub immediately after.... ahhhh.

Amaya the Family Puzzler - Picture Taken on Sinco De Amaya

Carol and I have taken up Ravensburger Puzzles - we especially like the scenes where we have visited - this is a French little Village scene - 1,000 piecer.  (We have a 1,500 - that will be a challenge).

We marvel at how quickly the Family Puzzler Amaya can get through these puzzles - she was good at them even as a small child.  I asked here why she can do puzzles so quickly and she gave me the following answer.  Not sure what she said exactly but her Nana is brilliant.

"Papa, I noticed as a baby, infant or small child that I was left-brain logical and I have tried to develop that positive attribute.  That is why  some of my favorite activities involve problem-solving, learning new languages and science.  I enjoy doing most of your puzzles as it reinforces the connections between my brain cells.  I find that puzzles also improve my mental speed and perhaps even my short term memory and cognitive skills.  I really enjoy when you have two puzzles out that you cannot finish - it is sort of a challenge to work on both of them at once.  Sometimes, to enhance my enjoyment, when no one is looking, I turn the pieces upside down and do the puzzle fitting, sort of backwards, without looking at the colors.  Anyway Papa, you just keep doing the borders and I will try to get over to your house to fill in the middle pieces."
